Terre Haute Casino DELAYED due to Gibson/Lucy Luck Lawsuit

Gibson’s Lucy Luck Tries Again To Stop Churchill Downs From Taking His Casino

The lawsuit filed by Lucy Luck to get the casino license for Terre Haute back has been delayed until Feb. 2022.

This means Churchill Downs can’t move forward with any plans it has for a casino in Terre Haute.

Business mogul Greg Gibson lost the casino license last year when the Indiana Gaming Commission determined that financing and an executive team was still not been put into place after more than year of being awarded the license.

Gibson feels like the IGC was being unfair to him. This was his project and he worked his ass for it. The ICG said that was not true and it was not the gaming commissions responsibility to continually have to ask what the licensees have done to comply with commission rules.

Churchill Downs will need to Stop Developing its plans for a Terre Haute Casino until this matter is resolved in the court.

Update: Lucy Luck/ Gibson drops lawsuit after settlement reached with IGC. No Casino license, but he can have his license fee back.
