The Agenda for Dec. 2nd 2019 Vigo County Council Meeting has been published. The biggest topic is voting to transfer money to get the New Security Complex Construction started.

The Council will vote to Appropriate Funds out of the Local Income Tax Rate Increase Passed by the Council last August.

The Income tax hike of .75 was divided into three areas (jail construction, jail funding, general funds) and brought the Vigo County Income Tax Rate from 1.25% to 2.0%.
