Years of planning and millions of dollars invested are finally bringing together Terre Haute’s next Destination Hot Spot
The piece of sidewalk between the Vigo County Courthouse and the City Hall building is hoping to become a true destination place for everyone in the Wabash Valley.

Visitors, tourists, and locals will all be encouraged to come and sit outside the courthouse on beautiful new concrete steps.
Amenities for the family will include charging ports for your phone while waiting for your next Court appearance.
A snake like granite block will also be featured for enjoyment while watching for the latest line up from the jail, or to catch a glimpse of the famed Mayor Duke Bennett.
Other Highly anticipated spectacles will include, City Council members scuttling hither and yon, lawyers, and possibly a Superior Court Judge.
The Turn to the River Project is just completing Phase One, but excitement is at a fever pitch on what this will bring to the community.
The Greatest benefit of the Courthouse/City Hall project is that a monument to a Terre Haute Hero will be moved BACK to where Real PEOPLE will actually see it!!
