
Vigo County municipal election is here. Early voting is open across Terre Haute.
The City Council has given out raises to all city employees.
The County Council gave out raises to all it’s employees.
The teachers are waiting on the referendum to pass to get theirs.
Vigo County Leaders and City Leaders have done all they can to take care of the employees. The hard working, dedicated public servants have received a much needed bump in pay. Police, Fire, Parks, Street, Courts, Highway, everyone, across the board is now better off than they were just a few weeks ago.
Jail and Convention Center and Casino will clear the Union Halls. Winter is coming, but construction will continue.
To paraphrase the 18th century writer Edmund Burke, don’t bite the hand that feeds you.
