As businesses across the State of Indiana struggle to cope and adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic many are looking for answers from State and Local officials.
Indiana’s pandemic surge is not expected for several more days, many businesses are still having to plan for a reopening on April 7th.
April 7th is when the State Wide stay at home order ends and things are supposed to get back to normal around here.
Well, it’s not going to happen.
The problem is, that until those powers “that be” SAY SOMETHING, then the powers that “don’t be”, have to prepare, and plan, and get everything lined up to roll open the Doors.
If you have ever run a business, non-profit, or been in charge of a government agency, waiting until the last minute ALWAYS helps. (not) We are preparing to be back in business on April 7th. Calling employees, vendors, customers and trying to do the right thing. Knowing damn good and well, that it’s not going to happen.
Every day you delay is making it even harder than it needs to be. And for what? Do the leaders of Indiana really think they are going to open up for business in 5 days? No, they don’t. So what gives? Maybe, and this is just a thought, out loud, they don’t give 2 shakes whats happening and care more about “how it looks like whats happening”…Chew on that. Thanks. Jason Owens
