Travis Merritt, 22, was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of traffic. He was released on his own recognizance Dec. 26th.

Merritt’s arrest record in the Vigo County Jail dates when he was 18.

On Feb. 4th 2015 Merritt was arrested for Burglary. He was released by the court on Feb. 6th 2015.

April 6th 2015 Merritt returned to the Vigo County Jail for auto theft, resisting law enforcement, and probation violation.

October 15th, 2015 Travis was booked again into the Vigo County Jail for illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage and resisting law enforcement.

Merritt was back again Nov. 15th 2015 for violation of probation.

May 5th, 2017 auto theft and failure to appear

Sept. 18th 2017 Merritt was nabbed again for burglary, theft, and auto theft.

After another sentence with the DOC Travis was busted again March 10th 2019 for possession of meth, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

April 3rd, 2019 Merritt was arrested for Domestic Battery

Six days later Travis posed for another mugshot. On 4/9/2019 Merritt was booked into the the jail for invasion of privacy-violation of protective order, domestic battery.

Then on May 21st, 2019 Merritt was arrested for possession of meth, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

Sept. 2nd, 2019 Merritt was booked for possession of meth, 2 count of domestic battery, and invasion of privacy.

October would see Travis back in county jail on 10/12/19 when he was picked up again for public intoxication and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Merritt got out of Jail on 11/4/2019 and was put back in jail on 12/5/2019 for failure to appear.

He was released on 12/20/2019 and was then arrested again Christmas Day 12/25/2019 for his latest offense.

Merritt is due back in court on 3/26/20. He has been evaluated by community corrections which submitted it’s findings to the court on 3/20/20. He is now 23 and currently in the Vigo County Jail.
